Starting to get ready... :)

The baby girl we are going to adopt is due in about two months. I must be nesting or something because I want to try and get ready as best we can. :) Anyway, my mom has a crib for us but we can't get it from California until about a month after the baby is born. Does anyone have a pack and play we could borrow until we get the crib?
Thanks!

Twilight Part II

At church today, I only gathered money for Jeanette, and Andrea. The three of us will have a lovely time at the movies. I am heading out tomorrow to buy the tickets. I am going to the actual theather to get them so I have them in hand. I will give you all until noon tomorrow to get me the money. If not, you are on your own! Call me if you are planning on stopping by to drop off your money.

It Is Time

The moment that us deperate housewives have been waiting for is finally upon us. TWILIGHT. Here's the skinny ladies:

1. You show up to the church to help set up for Super Saturday on Friday night 11/21. (Sarah, Andrea, please divulge more details)

2. We carpool over to the cheap-o theaters in McKinney off of 75 and enjoy drooling over Edward at the 10:00 show. (I know it's late, get over it.)

3. Before all this can happen, I NEED your money to preorder the tickets. I would love to be able to go pay for them all, but seeing as I am flat broke, I gots to get your moolah.

We can go about the money exchange a couple of ways:
A. If you live in Celina/Prosper, bring the money to church on Sunday
B. Bring it to my house NO LATER THAN SUNDAY NIGHT
C. Or pay via PAYPAL. (I am quite serious about that.)
Just let me know if thats what you wanna do

Cost of the ticket is $5.25, plus a trip fee for me to drive over there and get them for you. (just joshin ya!)

BTW, you don't have to help set up to come, you could just meet us there.

Carseat Hunting

Ben and I are checking into getting a convertible carseat for Austin as he is getting pretty fat and heavy these days and has just about out grown his infant carseat. I've spent sometime looking, and have my eyes set on the Britax Boulevard Click n Safe Child Restraint Car Seat, as Britax seems to be the highest rated for convertible carseats. Does anyone have any thoughts? What's worked for you? Am I really going to have to spend around $350 to get a great, comfortable and safe carseat? Please let me know!! Thanks!!

New Costumes Wanted

My sweet friend has started a foundation in memory of her daughter who passed away on June 25 of this year. It's called the princess Alexa foundation and it's goal is to set up dress up closets in children's hospitals. They are in need of new costumes and not used since the children using the closet are immune compromised. Since Halloween was last weekend the sales are rockin'. So, gather up what you can and drop them by my house and I'll get them to Crys next week.

Phone, Futon, TV

Hey! Do any of you lovely ladies have any of the following: a phone (I am talking about an old school LAND LINE phone), DVD player, optimally a DVD/TV combo and maybe a futon. My father in law is moving in with us for a short time while I go to work full time. We are trying to make his stay as comfortable as possible. If you have any of this stuff to LEND me, please let me know.
