car seat - got one, thank you all!

Hey!

We have oodles of fam coming to visit this week and were wondering if anyone has either an infant or regular car seat that we cold borrow tomorrow through Tuesday. Thank you very kindly!

The summer monster is around the corner...

... and I am dreading every minute of it. I know I am a real dead-beat mom. I still have no plans whatsoever for my two heathens and I am pleading, begging for your suggestions. It does not help my cause that a) I have to work at least 4 hours a day M-F, b) I have no real budget to work with for my boys' entertainment, c) we probably will be in town all summer long.

If any of you moms have plans for babysitting co-ops, I'm in. Playgroups, I'm in. Conspiracy to unconsciously misplace/loose your kids somewhere, I'm in.

So please let me know. As you can see, I am losing sleep over this...

Hey all! Nick is taking the girls camping this weekend. We are not campers, therefore have no stuff (except for the tent.) I think the biggest thing they are going to need is pads to put under their sleeping bags. Does anyone have 3 that they could lend to us this weekend? Thanks much!

Mattress Madness

Ladies have any insights as to how to deep clean a mattress that has been soiled (at 1am of all times! my bed, no less!) by a child that had one root beer float too many? Can't seem to get the pukey-ness out of it. I might have to buy a new mattress probably... any insights on how to get the best deal? I'm cringing at the thought of spending that money... :(

Does anyone know of someone we could pay to take down the top strand of our Christmas lights this weekend? We don't have a ladder tall enough. It's only two strands. Eric is able to get down the rest. Thanks!

HVAC Repair Companies?

I think there's something wrong with our heating system, and was wondering if anyone could recommend an HVAC company that they trust.

We always used AirTron before, because it was covered under our home's warranty, but our warranty is over now...and I always hated AirTron! (But it was free).

Bunk beds with desk

We are selling our boy's bunk beds because we are redecorating their rooms.

We have 2 of these:

They are from IKEA...it is the Tromso Loft Bed with desk.

We bought them for $298 each when we moved here (2 1/2 years ago).

I am going to list them on Craigslist for $130 each.

If you are interested in one or both of them let me know,

I am going to try to list them on Monday.
