Well, not really a "field trip" field trip. I know I have told a lot of you girls about letting you know when I go Chinese grocery shopping that we'd go together. Well, next week I will be going to the best Asian market ever. It's in Carrollton close to the LDS Employment Center. It's quite a hike, but I'm telling you - well worth the drive. I go there about twice a month or so. Their produce department makes me weep of joy everytime I go there. They have a food court that serves the best Korean and Japanese food. I go there, eat lunch and then get the groceries. (And whoever said that you do not over-buy groceries when your stomach is full, I got one word for you: LIAR!) There's also a houseware department that carries the coolest kitchen gadgets, utensils and dishes - straight from Korea. I got a rice dispenser that holds 50lbs of rice. Love that thing!! My kids are always fighting over who's going to help me measure the rice every meal.
So if you are interested, please email me (carriefung@yahoo.com) no later than Tuesday evening and let me know you're in. I plan on going Thursday morning around 10am. Rain or shine. Alone or in a pack. Wednesday afternoon I'll send an email to all adventurous explorers about the plan for our field trip.
Please feel free to invite anyone you think would like to come along. The more the merrier!

Morgan and Milo Mishap
Hi Ladies!
At one of my favorite online haunts, I purchased a to-die-for pair of Morgan and Milo mary janes on clearance. Enamored by their cuteness, I totally misjudged the size and ended up with a girl's size four which is waaaaaaaaay too big for my kiddo. They are non-returnable, so I can't send them back. Does anyone have a daughter that needs a brand spanking new pair of savage back-to-school kicks? If you do and want to give me, say, ten or so bucks -- they're yours. :) (See the link below for a picture.) They are red with white polka dots and pink trim, and have a bit of a wedge heel to them. Ubercute, and listed on Ebay right now for $44. (Original retail price was $58.00)

Girls Ballet or Tap Shoes?
Maiya is going to dance camp next week and the hand-me-down ballet shoes we have don't fit her.
They also recommend tap shoes if we have them (which I don't)
I'm not keen to rush out and by a pair of each for one week if I can avoid it - so if anyone can lend me either I'd appreciate it!
ballet shoes or tap shoes size 10 or 11
I can pick up and return!!!
thanks,
Janie

Breast Pump
I wanted to ask here before checking out any other websites. Do any of you ladies have a breast pump that I can buy? I don't need any of the tubing or accessories, just the pump will be fine.

{For Sale}
We bought Austin this Fisher Price school bus ball pit about 9 or so months ago and he has had very little interest in it at all. In fact, we've really just used it as a big toy box. I think we're way over it. We've purchased a set of additional ball for it, so there's a fair amount, but isn't "full" like a McDonalds ball pit by any means, but extra balls are like $12 or something at target. Anyway, we paid around $65 for it at Toys R Us, but I'd be more than happy to let it go, balls and all for $20. I'm posting it on craigslist in a few days if I don't hear from anyone on here. First come, first serve. It's in really great shape and has no holes or leaks. We blew it up when we bought it and it's still up now without having to blow it up again. The bus is inflatable, so transporting it wouldn't be a problem, and we can shove balls in walmart sacks or something. Just let me know if you're interested!

Free Ticket for Time Out for Women in Plano this October
Hi Ladies! Someone from the Time Out for Women team somehow got a hold of me and they are looking for 2 ladies from the Frisco Stake to volunteer at the event in October in exchange for a free ticket to the event. Each person has to be from a different ward. So I can take one from Frisco 4th and one from Frisco 5th, you get the idea. First two ladies to email me at lieslfisher AT hotmail.com get the slots.
Here's the info they sent me:
We are looking for sisters to be a part of our Time Out for Women team.
Here is a link about the event http://deseretbook.com/timeout/event/102
-Participate in a mandatory training phone call on Wednesday June 9th at either 10am or 9pm. Whichever time works best for you. This is just going to be an explanation of the day of the event and expectations before the event.
-Get the word out. Tell everyone you know about Time Out for Women. Send an email to 50 of your friends and have them send it to 50 of theirs and so on. Post it on Facebook or twitter! Check out the TOFW PLANO facebook page and invite all your friends. One request is to NOT announce the event or distribute flyers at ANY church activity (rs meetings, sunday meetings, etc).
-Receive and respond to any emails from me
-Assist at the actual event. Come early and help unpack the tote bags, seat people, take tickets. VERY EASY! There is NO setting up at all, ie chairs, or taking anything down. You may miss the first 5 minutes of the event if you are seating or taking tickets, but after the event starts each day, your job is done.
The event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday Oct 8 & 9th. It is in the Plano Centre (2000 E Spring Creek Pkwy, in Plano)
Friday 6:30-9:30pm (will need you to come early to help and we'll let you know the time soon)
Saturday 9am-3:45pm.
-And THAT"S IT!! Super easy. Basically, aside from the phone call there isn't much to do until August and then you can just start getting the word out.
The best part is you get your ticket for FREE!

leather belts
Hi!
I am doing a bit of a project and need about 8 brown or tan leather belts. I called Goodwill, but they were oh so not helpful. IF anyone has an extra belt I would be happy to take it off your hands! (I know it's kind of a weird request, but why not try!)
Thanks!
